Press Release:  Schecter Guitar Research is proud to introduce the Platinum Series and debut of the new S-II body shape for the 2015 Winter NAMM Show, which will be showcased in their upstairs Room 210-D. The Platinum Series features: a Mahogany body, 3-piece set Maple neck with Ultra Access for seamless playability and effortless access to the higher frets, Platinum ‘Tempest’ Crown inlays, and 24 X-Jumbo frets on an Ebony fingerboard. The Platinum Series comes loaded with the very popular active EMG 57/66 pick-ups, which offer a more organic tone than the standard active pick-up. The domineering new S-II body shape delivers a modern edge to a classic look which classic rockers and metal-heads alike will revere. The sonic versatility and aggressiveness of the Platinum Series will raise your sound to platinum status!
