Exclusive: Kinsey Rose is living life at the speed of a broken heart in new single set to release on April 14

Nashville-based country singer-songwriter Kinsey Rose teamed up with co-writers Chris Roberts and Grammy award-winning songwriter Marcus Hummon to pen her new single “Speed Of A Broken Heart,” set to drop on April 14, 2023. Hummon has scored hits with numerous artists, including Sara Evans, Rascal Flats, and the Chicks, to name a few.

Fans of The Voice will recall Rose’s time on Season 21 with Kelly Clarkson saying, “you’re the kind of country singer that I love,” and Blake Shelton recalling, “you have so much character in your voice.”

We’re pleased to announce the release of “Speed Of A Broken Heart” and share the pre-save link with our readers.

On the inspiration for the single, Rose shares with us:

I wrote this song while ending a long-term relationship, it was very difficult. Breakups are never fun, but I learned that they can help you grow and move on. I wanted to put a positive spin on the song, but also keep it real. When I took this experience to the writing room with Marcus and Chris, they were so supportive during the writing process, and the song was written in a matter of just a few hours. They really allowed me to be authentic to myself. They’re great collaborators and friends, and we continue to write together often, so I’m always excited to see what’s going to come next.”
