Toronto, ON – Emerging Canadian country singer-songwriter Danielle Ryan, is set to release her debut EP Middle of the Madness on April 22nd via 604 Records and all streaming platforms.

Danielle was recently announced as a SiriusXM Top of The Country semi-finalist as one of eight artists heading to a studio session in Vancouver or Toronto to record a new song and performance video. Then it’s over to the fans to vote on who will be the top three finalists in the running for the mentorship opportunity of a lifetime.
Her highly anticipated debut release touches on the phases of falling in love, coming to terms with heartbreak, and being fully present in each moment. Danielle wrote every song on the seven-track EP, with support on arrangements and production from award-winning producer Brian Howes (Nickelback, Simple Plan) and other trusted collaborators including Danielle’s brother, Brandon Severinski.
“At a time of complete uncertainty naming the EP “Middle of the Madness” felt self-evident. This compilation expresses endless emotions and what it feels like to be in the middle of it all,” says Danielle Ryan. “These songs were written for my sanity, and I hope they can now be consumed for yours. There is a song for everything, from mad love to complete heartbreak along with stories of hope and happiness.”
Danielle’s breakout single, “Weather Man,” gained solid traction at Country Radio and garnered over 370K streams. The EP title track “Middle of the Madness” boasts a serene, slow-burning progression that anchors the focus on Danielle’s dulcet vocals and weighty words. Conversely, “Good Times” is a boot-stomping barn-rocker driven by fun, rapid-fire verses and a chorus you’ll be whistling for days.
Another stand out track is the recently released single, “Take Me Back,” produced by Invoke Music partners, Spencer Cheyne and Justin Kudding, about reminiscing on being taken back to easier times of a relationship with the one you love and can’t seem to forget.
For over a decade, Danielle Ryan has been hard at work honing her writing and performance skills behind the curtain. Born and raised on her great grandfather’s dairy farm in rural British Columbia, she naturally gravitated towards the organic country stylings of decades past – but with a sharp awareness of the mechanics of modern pop thanks to some of the artists who helped shape her sound.
Clearly, great things can come when you combine a rancher’s work ethic with an artist’s insatiable creative calling. Through songs, Middle of the Madness solidifies Danielle’s impressive sonic foundation – one she’ll be building on for years to come.
